* this song speaks so much about a past relationship.
i don't like to write about it then, since i know it will do nothing but aggravate the feeling and the sadness.
it has been more than a year now, but i just stumbled upon this song in youtube last night.
i'm just looking back and i'm so glad to be doing a lot better now, so much better.
You've been my golden best friend
Now with post-demise at hand
Can't go to you for consolation
Cause we're off limits during this transition
This grief overwhelms me
It burns in my stomach
And i can't stop bumping into things
I thought we'd be simple together
I thought we'd be happy together
Thought we'd be limitless together
I thought we'd be precious together
But i was sadly mistaken
You've been my soulmate and mentor
I remembered you the moment i met you
With you i knew god's face was handsome
With you i suffered an expansion
This loss is numbing me
It pierces my chest
And i can't stop dropping everything
I thought we'd be sexy together
Thought we'd be evolving together
I thought we'd have children together
I thought we'd be family together
But i was sadly mistaken
If i had a bill for all the philosophies i shared
If i had a penny for all the possibilities i presented
If i had a dime for every hand thrown up in the air
My wealth would render this no less severe
I thought we'd be genius together
I thought we'd be healing together
I thought we'd be growing together
Thought we'd be adventurous togheter
But i was sadly mistaken
Thought we'd be exploring together
Thought we'd be inspired together
I thought we'd be flying together
Thought we'd be on fire together
But i was sadly mistaken
"Where am I going?"
Did you ever ask yourself: "What am I doing in this stupid job?"
Do you ever feel like you are stuck?
If you feel frustrated or unhappy at work - whether you're a chicken plucker or a brain surgeon - your best strategy is ... GIVE IT ALL YOU'VE GOT.
Why?
1. You feel better about yourself
2. You develop your skills
3. You develop a reputation
4. Sometime, someone will notice you and offer you a better position, or
5. You'll one day get the confidence to go do your own thing.
Fred says, "If I had a great job, I would really work hard - but if I've got this lousy job so I just sleep all day!" No, Fred!
When we continually give our best, life naturally leads us toward new opportunities. Sometimes it takes a while, but it happens.
One more thing ... opportunities, job offers - and romance - usually
come from unexpected situations and unexpected people. It's life's way
of reminding us to keep an open mind!
IN A NUTSHELL
Successful people tell themselves, "If I make the most of this opportunity, I'll get a bigger one."
Life rewards effort, not excuses.

Everything Is Connected!
Have you noticed that whenever you exercise regularly, you feel like eating healthier food?
Have you noticed that when you eat healthier food, you have more energy - so you feel like exercising more?
Everything in life is connected.
The way you think affects the way you feel.
The way you walk affects the way you talk.
The way you talk affects the way you think.
Effort you put into one part of your life affects all the other parts.
When you are happy at home, you are happier at work.
When you are happy at work, you are happier at home.
So what does all this mean?
- That
to improve your life you can start on ANY positive path. You might
start with a savings plan, a goal list, a fitness program or a
commitment to spend more time with your kids. That positive path will
lead to other positive results because everything is connected.
- It doesn't matter WHERE you start to put more effort into your life. It matters THAT you start.
- It works both ways! If you let one part of your life collapse, everything will begin to spiral downward. This keeps us paying attention!
IN A NUTSHELL
Everything you do matters!

i was supposed to bake today, but due to some circumstances, i have to postpone that.
we (with my 2 younger sisters) attended the mass last night (this is one of those days i wish the homily will be just for 15 minutes, or at least shorter than 30 or 45 minutes -- i see other people getting sleepy and bored already, including the 3 of us). that's why when we got to the mall (metro gaisano), it's almost closing time.
we bought some stuff in the grocery, then i bought a new, bigger cookie sheet (the bigger the tray, the faster baking cookies will be). i am so excited to use it, supposedly today.
unfortunately, the
cashier who attended to us forgot to put the cookie tray in the
plastic. i never noticed it wasn't there, not until we got to jollibee.
we were already next in line, the jobee cashier is patiently waiting
for our order, while me and onet (my youngest sister) were discussing
about the missing cookie tray. we're all so pissed off to find out none
of us seen the tray. we soon realized the lady (gaisano cashier) did
forgot to "bag" the tray.
it's really inconvenient for me, cos our home is like 15 minutes away from that mall, and i have to go back to manila today... whew...
sorry, no cookies this week.
ok, gotta get going...
here goes my song for the day:
| You Are a Total Brainiac |
![]() You're amazingly brilliant. Some would even say genius. You're curious, thoughtful, analytical, and confident. You take on difficult subjects because you want to... not because you have to. No field of knowledge is too complicated or intimidating for you. You've got the brains to do anything you want. It's possible you end up doing everything you want. |
| Your Intrapersonal Intelligence Score: 65% |
![]() Your Intrapersonal Intelligence is High You have a great understanding of who you are, and your place in the world. You know what path you're on. And you are excited about your future. You're always deepening your inner knowledge and introspection. And enjoying it every step of the way. |
| You Are Bettie Page |
![]() Girl next door with a wild streak You're a famous beauty - with unique look And the people like you are cultish about it |
How do you want 2008 to be different from 2007? What will you change or do differently?
Submitted by Becca-Pink.
generally, i wanted my year 2007 be a "jump off" year, but it turned out otherwise. it was a year full of adjustments for me, and i, wanting to take my mind off from a lot of things, remained on my comfort zone.
this year, i expect and look forward to a lot of risk-taking decisions. this time, it's for real. if 2007, has been a "fork at the end of the road," 2008 will serve as the way i chose at the end of the fork. it will be the bend that i will choose to follow, never mind the fears.
i'm certainly looking forward, more excited at how things will turn out this year. just a few weeks ago, i started to apply for a higher position in our company. just last week, i applied for another higher position. no matter what happens, i'm just so glad that i'm back to my old risk-taking self.
