oh i know it's been a long time since i last posted here...
i keep droppin by every time, reading some posts, commenting from time to time, but i just don't feel like writing lately (it's one of those days, haha)
i need to do some updating though...
hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas.
happy new year in advance!
hmmm... i'm not really good at cooking, but i know i can somehow make it on the baking world, lol!
not knowing how to cook is such a big lie!
because i really do know how to cook, but i just stopped...
and that's a different story...
so here's a first attempt in making some oatmeal raisin cookies:
my mom is so excited to taste it, since the cinnamon aroma keeps filling the air.
it was funny cos the moment i removed the tray from the oven, she couldn't get her hands off the cookies.
well, it's still hot, but she ate it and said, "this tastes great, and will make a best seller"
so off i go packing the cookies, better get back to manila, ahm...
i gotta go, still have to pack up my things.
(post edited: January 21, 3:15pm, manila time)
ok, so i went home yesterday, from manila to our province (quezon), since there's nothing left better to do. my roommate has work during the day, so i don't have anybody to hang out with, since my friends' lifestyles are normal (they all work during the day, and i work graveyard shifts *sighs*)
anyway, i slept a lot, and woke up, and realized that i'm bored here too. so i thought of baking, and i just thought of making oatmeal raisin cookies
now being a very talented baker (just think about the opposite, lol) i googled my way to this site, and it's cool. i found a lot of easy-to cook-recipes on it, and now i better get going. i need to go now and grab the ingredients. laters, tata.
since i'm not really a good writer, nor a lengthy poster, i'm gonna post things about myself in a few words, this is me at this moment:
book, food, toe ring, earrings, starbucks peppermint mocha, bag, nokia cellphone, notebook, forum, eragon, labyrinth (kate mosse), lunch, knit, crochet, craft, shades, day off, bored, happy, beyonce, violin, pomeranian, misa de gallo, "parol", sweater, www.43things.com

ok, i'm done with my first day at work... yey!
4 more days to go. lol... 0=)
ahh... so much for the day off sickness... hehehe... now, what's keeping me entertained?
i've been looking for videos i can save on my cellphone, and i've been browsing through this website: www.mobile9.com
and i found these videos here....
oh and by the way, you can download some cellphone stuff here for free, like software, themes, wallpapers, operator logos, etc. just check it out.
so i'm already out, shift's over, and finally, i found this coca cola video i'm loooking for... and lemme share it to y'all.
have a nice weekend! laters... 0=)

now my work week's starting again...
sigh... =/
i've been rummaging through my things, and i just realized, i haven't read a lot of books i kept in a long time.
i really love books, even though i always fall asleep when i read, lol. see, i have this habit of buying books of all sorts, but one frustration is that i am always too tired to read, given my graveyard work shift, so i end up just reading a few pages, then... zzzzzzzz...
i'm beginning to read again, and i had already finished Neil Gaiman's Coraline. well, it was a funny one. i just admire coraline's courage, for someone her age. this was my first attempt in reading other author's books (since i'm like a loyal reader, most of the time i read novels by dean koontz, robin cook, stephen king) and it was a good try.
when i was a kid, i was planning to read all the entire mystery series (the hardbound ones) of nancy drew (our school librarian was like, huh, another nancy drew book again, lol), but i did not finish it because they were too many, and of course, a lot of other students borrow those books i haven't read. another thing is i already went to highschool. it was kinda embarrassing for a highschool student to be stuck on the grade school library borrowing kiddie books, lol. at the time, i was into classic books too. i remember going through apple's classics too.
i love how books transport me to another world, another realm. i get to have a sneak peak of other cultures. i can visit the past, the present, and the future. one thing i really love is that i always learn a lot of things just by reading. believe it or not, i learned how to open doors (pick locks) through nancy drew, lol.
so here are the books i haven't read yet. some of them are bought about 2 years ago, yay! Where Rainbows End was a gift from my older sister.
i know i missed some books on the list, i have to go through my books on our flat (manila), since i'm here in the province at my parents' home.
i am so happy it's the end of my working week.
it's been a tough week for me, since i've been dealing with difficult technical issues over the phone... lots of remote access calls, wireless connection calls with file and printer sharing. i'm just thankful that most of them are windows computer (i'm more like a windows person, and i just love macintosh's features, but i'm not really familiar with it, hehe) issues. and when i get macintosh calls with a "wireless network - file - printer sharing" issue, i can surely do look like the two fellas below:
Linda Sattgast (Digital Scrapper Editor) said,
"This photo by tirzam didn't fit into the criteria of what I was looking for, but I couldn't pass it up after reading the caption: Kira's Version of "The Scream."
there was supposed to be a Dog and Cat Photo Contest for the subscribers, and somebody passed the dog's photo above. i love linda sattgast's humor, for she posted the dog's picture next to the "scream" painting. lol. =)
now, that made me smile... TENSION & STRESS released. there goes my friday - saturday off. yey!

some of my former classmates won't even recognize me because of my hair. lol. =P
Our dilemma is that we hate change and love it at the same time;
what we really want is for things to remain the same but get better.
